"It was a lovely afternoon, not cold nor windy with a good turnout of 20+. Nothing much happened apart from a couple of memorable upsets by relative amateurs against hardened crim....oops, competitors. One game went to the wire 12/11 the other was a little easier at 13-4. Surprisingly, the man with the green hat featured in both games but claims his partners worked hard too, he is most charitable! Oh, and in the last game a deathly screech came across the piste like some child was being tortured – apparently it was Gloria, not sure why but maybe something had gone very right - or possibly very wrong! A great time was had by all
