With freezing winds and rain predicted, 23 hardy petanqueurs hit the pistes for Saturday's competition. CPC members had the opportunity to play with visiting Pyrenees member, Terence Garrett, who is visiting Melbourne with his wife. Bienvenue Terence and Mary!
Note to self: remember to take your boules with you when travelling. Apart from being an attention-grabbing item (even fashion statement - OK, bit of a stretch!), it is a way to promote our club and meet other clubs' members.
Saturday's top scorers, in first and second places respectively were Gloria and Leigh (Female) and Michael Young and Terence (Male).
