Friday evening winners were partners in life Heinz and Jenny. On their first reappearance at the Club after 9 months travelling around Australia they scooped the pool playing against one another in a tense game that finished a very close 12-11 well after the bell had been rung.

 It was a full on evening with 35 players including an amazing 11 trialists.

Patricia, who sounds delightfully French knew Mary through pilates and came with partner Jan (Yan, Dutch) so CPC is becoming ever more international.

Max Thomas who joined late in January and has his own piste to practise on brought partner Vicki to play and thoroughly enjoyed themselves.

And to top out the numbers Ghillie who first came bringing 6 friends came this time with 7. Does she deserve a medal! All wonderfully welcome. We’ll soon need a larger clubhouse.
