Saturday winners were unmistakeably Colin and the lady hiding under her very practical hat after a hot summer afternoon’s play is Noella.

Congratulations Colin and Noella, who played together in the last game with a crushing 13-2 win over friend Shelley and recently welcomed back Gloria.

This cemented their success for the day. Despite the heat (once again 30 degrees) we had over 20 players and a great afternoon of Petanque.

At the end of the day Gwen Simmonds signed up to join the Club having played well for 2 Saturdays in a row. Gwen is a friend of Marion’s from the time they lived next door to one another in their twenties. Welcome Gwen.
