Mark Fitzgerald googled Petanque clubs near Surrey while he was in England and found Crondall Petanque, turns out it wasn’t easy to find as its no longer in Crondall but in Farnborough. He played there on three occasions and he found the people were very friendly and helpful, the last time Mark played there was a kind of tournament they called a melee where everyone pays 3 pounds and are randomly in allocated partners for three games, the three highest scoring players take the cash !
