Avoiding the Car park clash with the Gardening Club, the second of the great adventures to the Yarra Valley got underway 4 minutes early on Thursday. In the very capable hands of Greg Harris, Driver and tour guide extrordinaire, the tour negotiated to Tokah for wine taste, Coffee, Cakes & conversation with excellent views of the hills in very pleasant weather conditions.

Next up , Helens Hill Winery for Grazing plates while served and educated in wines of the estate by Steven & Peter from the winery.  This was followed by a lunch of various and very, very good pizzas/ " More than enough" was the comment heard generally. A couple of intense games of petanque ensued in the grounds around, generously provided by the estate.

After cleaning up, raking down, we were on the charabanc again to Yarra Vally Dairy, where we were presented with an altogether interesting presentation and tasting of some of their produce. Did you know there was "Day" milk & "Night" Milk?

The return home was a breeze No big singalongs though (we didn't let Gerald near the microphone), just comfortable chatting and snoozing.
