The opportunitty to play on  the worlds largest piste was too much to ignore. Scores tba

Previously:We have arrived at a camp around an area called telegraph Pool next to the Fitzroy river between Derby and Broome.  It has been very windy for the last few days and it’s getting stronger. Strong gusts stirring up all the dust and sand. Can’t keep anything clean and I’m a little wind blown.
But, this is a magical spot. The views are lovely and there’s lots of birds and crocs. We watched a White Sea eagle eating a fish while numerous kites were waiting to grab anything the eagle left behind. We’ve seen whistling kites, black kites, egrets, herons and a beautiful jabiru, the second we’ve seen.
While playing Petanque on this sandy, undulating terrain, we had about 10 kites (the birds) flying overhead watching what we were doing. We wondered whether they would swoop on the coche!

Anyway, Jenny won 13-10.
