From time to time, we need assistance or advice and it would be helpful to call on members with talents and skills that they are willing to share for the benefit of the club.

If you are a regular player, please consider becoming a game day coordinator A.K.A. Opener. Our games days are well organised because members take on this role. Your services would be required no more than once every four weeks.
Rostering is flexible. You can swap days with other openers when you have commitments and we will find cover for you when you go on holidays. You will be provided with support and clear instructions on what to do. Saturday openers get training on how to use the competition system. Give it a go! Press the button below to ask Faye questions or sign up.
Keep in touch with members through our new WhatsApp Community. We have set up groups for each play day and cards. You can message a group about play days, find out who is coming on a particular day, maybe organise coffee before or after! This is all about providing an informal means of communicating between members.
Our only requirement is that members do not message the whole group with communications only intended for one or two people. There is a feature that allows you to privately message individual members also in the group (if you are not sure how, please ask).
WhatsApp groups are not intended to replace formal club communications. Newsletters and emails from the club will continue. Game days cancellations will still be sent via SMS.
Use the QR code above to sign up, or scan the QR code on display in the clubrooms. Thanks to Andy for setting this up and getting it going.
Important message for Monday & Wednesday players
We have been spoiled with Jim from the JMC taking out and putting away the bins every week. He is leaving the committee so that means we need to take care of the bins.
Starting 6 October we ask Monday players to place the bins out on Through Road after play and Wednesday players to bring them in. The Veterans Car Club will bring them in on the first two Tuesdays of the month, if they forget, Wednesday players need to cover.
A roster will be placed in he clubrooms advising which bins should be put our every week. (Garbage is fortnightly, Green waste and recycling are weekly). If you have any questions please use the feedback button at the bottom of the newsletter.
