Help us defend the trophy! The innaugural interclub competition between CPC and Mt Martha was held at our club last year. Now it's time for a rematch to be hosted by Mt Martha. The format is 2 games before lunch and 2 games after. Mixed doubles and triples teams.
Saturday 20th June, 45 Watsons Road Mt Martha. A $5 entry fee will cover a lunch of soup and BBQ kransky sausages.
We are hoping for at least 20 players for this competition. Please register your interest by 6 June.
Renewal invoices were sent to all members on 30 May. Thanks to the quarter of our members who have already paid.
Please pay in full by 26 June. This will give us time to finalise our membership list before the PFA invoices the club for each member on 30 June. If you are unable to pay by the due date, please contact Faye and we will make arrangements for you.
Late payments: Members who have not paid by 26 June will not be insured with the PFA and therefore ineligible to play from 1 July. A reminder email will be sent shortly before the cut off date to those who have not paid.
Fee changes: The fees have increased from $115 to $120 for full members. This is because PFA increased their fee by $5 to $40 last year. This additional charge was absorbed by the club for the 2025/26 season. The Associate Members fee is $80 (the same as member’s fees less the PFA licence). Fees were agreed at the last AGM.
Not renewing? It would be helpful to let us know by 26 June. If you have any questions please contact Faye using the link below.
We are having a working bee on Friday 12 June starting at 10am. We would love to see you there. BBQ lunch provided.
The planned activities include decluttering the office, rear store, kitchen and cleaner's store. Unused items may end up in the skip bin. If you have any property in these areas that should avoid this fate, please inform Wayne.
Pictured: Winners were Guy, Ken and Kaz's table with guests. That is 2 wins in a row for Guy's table. Congrats.
We had a brilliant Trivia Night. Perplexing questions and some enthusiastic entries into the dancing and singing challenges (not quite Broadway standard). A fun time had by all.

Kudos to Leigh our amazing Quizmaster, ably assisted by Sue. They really got our braincells fired up. Thanks for a very entertaining evening.
Drizzle didn't dampen our spirits at the intraclub
The day of the May Intraclub Competition was grey and drizzly, but our intrepid members brought along their sunny dispositions to compensate. Congratulations to Rosie and Raffi who were the tournament champions, the only undefeated team on the day. As usual the competition finished with wine and cheese which was a well deserved treat for all players.
Thanks to everyone who made the day possible, Wayne for being there early to set up and special thanks to Ken for organising. Our next Intraclub Competition will be on 25 July.

Mixed Doubles Tournament was a huge success
The tournament was massive - 90 players competed, not a spare piste in sight. We were well represented with 20 CPC members participating. Top performing members, Ben and Tammie did well coming in at ninth. We also had associate members who did exceedingly well, Lynn and Patrick came second and Sofima with her partner Chris came fourth. Well done to everyone who had a go.
Tournaments don't happen without volunteers. Thanks to Ken who was the tournament organiser, Wayne for setting up and clearing up, the kitchen crew headed by Kathy, Guy for umpiring and JP and Di for registering players and scoring.
