Competition Flyers Emailed To You
Every week clubs are putting out flyers about upcoming competitions. Most flyers advise on cost, registration procedure, competition format, playing times and whether refreshments are available and is it BYO. The flyers are sent to our Club and are broadcast to all members by email. Most times they will also appear in the Upcoming Competitions section above. But because they have to be manually uploaded there may be times, for example if the 'manual uploader' is ever allowed to take a holiday, when the website is not 100% up to date or may lag behind the emails you receive. This is a website affiliated with Petanque Federation Australia. This is an easy to use website which lists by State all upcoming competitions or tournaments over the coming 3-4 months. It allows you to register your team in advance and to see which other teams have already registered. It shows you the club’s flyer advertising their competition so you have everything at your fingertips to get involved. It also publishes the results and rankings once the competition is over. Screen shots of My Petanque on the right here illustrate the information available.
This is the website of the Victorian Petanque Clubs Inc., a State organisation set up to administer and coordinate the activities of the numerous Victorian clubs which now comprise over half of Australia's Petanque players. Its website summarises the calendar of competitions in Victoria for the coming year. It provides information similar to My Petanque and uses the My Petanque website for registrations.
