The main items in this month's newsletter are the next Intraclub Tournament and our request for members' emergency contact details to improve player safety. We also provide a recap of the Christmas Party and Club Awards.
You will notice that the look of the newsletter has changed. This is because we are using a new system, RevSport. We are also simplifying the newsletter to make it a quicker, easier read.
The CPC committee wish you a very merry Christmas and a New Year full of friends, family, good health and happiness.

Please provide your emergency contact details
In order to keep our members safe, we request that you provide the name and phone number of a person we can contact in an emergency. This information will be stored in our membership database and also printed out and stored in the openers' folder. Please email your emergency contact details here.
Members who have joined the club from September 2025 do not need to respond to this request.
Housekeeping
Do you have any magnetic scorers? Some may have slipped into your bag, please have a look and return them when you can.
Do you use the microwave or sandwich press? If you use an appliance in the clubrooms, please wipe it down after use.
Empty the bins after every play session. Even Friday nights. If there is a cancellation of play on Saturday then the bins will be dirty for clubroom hirers.
What a cracker of a Christmas party
Pictured: Rosalie, Mark and Mary at the Christmas party. See more photos of our events on Facebook and our website.
Everyone had a fabulous time, great food with dear friends. Rex was, as always, a masterful MC, stepping in at the last moment. Many of our members dressed the part to add extra sparkle to the occasion. Wine and conversation flowed freely. Our party helpers Claire and Sam where there to help out and provided some catering to reduce the workload for members.
Thanks to everyone who volunteered to make the night such a success. Special call out to Noella for the delicious baked ham. Pam, Jenny, Noella, Rosie and Leigh for setting up, cleaning up and arranging the raffle. Also Michael Young for setting up Tyro, Rex for music and lighting and for being an opener (apologies to Rex for being left off the rollcall of openers for the awards). Then there is Wayne for helping with the lighting and Margaret for washing the table cloths. So many people to thank, please forgive if we missed anyone.
Finally, a very big thank you to our party organiser extraordinaire Kathy.
