A busy August is coming, we have our next Intraclub, the Mixed Triples Tournament, the Jolly Roger friendly with Mt Macedon and a Music Fun Night. The Annual General Meeting will be on 5 September, all members are encouraged to attend.
Music Fun Night
Music meisters Leigh and Andy are taking us on musical journey Saturday 8 August at 7pm. Come to a fun evening of listening, singing, dancing, quizzes, games, prizes and hopefully some mini performances. You might like to dress up in a music theme! Feel free to join in as much or as little as you choose – nothing is a must do.
We would love to have some of our talented members volunteer to perform a song, a dance, play an instrument – individual or group. We also want to hear about your favourite music. Tell Leigh in your RSVP, if you have a favourite song/music piece/musician or if you would like to provide some musical input on the night.
There will be a supper break, please bring a small share plate of finger food for the supper table. BYO drinks.
The meeting will start at 11am. Come along to find out about our club’s operations and finances. You can ask questions about these topics, speak about any items on the agenda and vote to:
accept the minutes of the last AGM
accept the annual report
accept the annual financial statements
elect committee members
set membership fees for 2027-28
An official notice of the AGM will be emailed to all members. In true CPC style, pizza will be served after the meeting. Regular play will follow.

Jolly Roger Friendly Competition with Mt Macedon
It is our turn to host the annual Jolly Roger Tournament against Mt Macedon on Saturday 29 August. It's always a fun, friendly competition between our two clubs. If you don't normally play in tournaments, this is the competition for you! All members are welcome to join in.
Please register your interest with Ken so we can plan to have even numbers with Mt Macedon. The long standing tradition is that the host club provides lunch and the visitors provide afternoon tea.
Players wishing to have normal Saturday play are free to use remaining pistes.
The new piste dividers are in! Well done to Wayne for organising and working with the contractors to replace those rotting piste dividers with brand new ones. And thanks to Damien for staining the new dividers, they look great!
Acknowledgement to Bendigo Community Bank for funding nearly half of the works through their Community Investment Program. And thanks to Rosie for researching and applying for the grant.
The hedge has been removed. Great work done today by members of CPC, Veterans Car Club and the Hartwell Guides. Thanks to everyone who came along, from our club Marion, Greg Hall, John Richards and Bruce L. Special mention to Ben from VCCA who put his ute into good use to straighten the fence!
